  • Continuation of the work of the Bilateral Commission for Cooperation with Burkina Faso and strengthening of the partnership in a sector where the Principality’s competence and presence are recognised by the partner state and by actors in the sector
  • Development of the Burkina Faso National Fire Brigade (six regions covered by firefighting teams, out of Burkina Faso’s total of 13, including the most recent in Boromo, in 2014)
  • Impact of Monaco’s technical and financial support

Overall objective

To support the Government of Burkina Faso in the field of civil defence.

Beneficiaries

Direct beneficiaries :
Members of the National Fire Brigade (1,200 people).

Indirect beneficiaries :
The population of Burkina Faso as a whole.

Burkina Faso’s civil defence organisation is strengthened.
