Monaco Humanitarian Collective Thanks its Volunteers

On Tuesday 4 October, the Department of International Cooperation, which coordinates the Monaco Humanitarian Collective chain of solidarity, gathered together all the volunteers who work for the project to thank them for their exemplary commitment, which allowed surgery for 300 children in the Principality.

For this meeting, the Department of International Cooperation (DCI) organised an evening event, attended by representatives from the Monegasque Red Cross, the NGO Rencontres Africaines, the Cardiothoracic Centre and the Princess Grace Hospital.

The DCI wished to thank the host families, doctors and those in charge of administrative formalities on the occasion of the visit to the Principality of its technical coordinators, who also act as liaison workers for Monaco Humanitarian Collective in Niger and Mali.

All these volunteers are links that enable the chain of solidarity (MCH) to exist.

As a reminder, the aim of the MCH is to operate in Monaco on children from developing countries whose conditions, mainly cardiac but sometimes orthopaedic, cannot be treated in their country of origin.
