The Department of International Cooperation relies on skills available in the Principality, particularly in two areas: civil protection and health.
Civil protection
Monaco Fire & Emergency Service supports civil protection in Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Mali.

The Department of International Cooperation also works with F2IAM ("Fonds d’Innovation, d’Impact et d’Accélération Monégasque"), established in early 2015. SADEV is a Monegasque state-owned socially responsible investment company that provides support for social enterprises. This complementary financial tool thus contributes to development aid and provides direct support to the local economy.
