Monegasque international solidarity organisations
Monaco has more than 50 organisations active in the field of international solidarity. The partnership with Monegasque international solidarity organisations (ISOs) is based on:
- Co-funding of projects via an annual call for projects: See the page "Submit a project "
- Capacity building through a training programme led by the Department of International Cooperation: See the page "Take a training course "
- The osimonaco.org platform
www.osimonaco.org , now entirely managed by Monegasque ISOs, allows them to highlight their activities and to pool their efforts.
- Monaco Humanitarian Collective
The DCI coordinates all the actors of the Monaco Collectif Humanitaire (MCH) to allow children whose cardiac and sometimes orthopedic pathologies, which cannot be operated on in their country, to be taken care of in Monaco.
With the health crisis and the strengthening of local skills, the MCH is continuing its partnership with the Chaîne de l'Espoir to support surgical interventions at the Festoc center of the Mère-Enfant Le Luxembourg hospital in Mali, and within the military hospital CENHOSOA on Madagascar.
The MCH intends to further strengthen this collaboration by supporting other local schemes.
Since the creation of the MCH in 2008, more than 515 children have been operated.
