Initiatives-Sahel: Launch today of a call for projects

The Government of the Principality of Monaco (Office of International Cooperation) and Bioforce Africa are today launching the “Initiatives Sahel” call for projects aimed at supporting civil society initiatives in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Senegal.
The purpose of the Initiatives-Sahel Fund is to support local associations implementing high-impact projects that respond to the essential needs of the population and encourage the empowerment of local communities.
Local associations in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Senegal are invited to submit their proposals for projects to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable people in key areas such as education and vocational training, child protection, entrepreneurship and
employability, food security, culture and sport, peace and social cohesion, adaptation to climate change and environmental protection. Successful candidates will benefit from a grant ranging between 15,000 Euros and 30,000 Euros to support the implementation of their project starting in April 2024.
Applications are open from 25th October 2023 and will close at midnight on 4th January 2024 (Dakar time).
