LIFSA call for projects "Local Initiatives Fund - South Africa": 13 projects selected for a total amount of €113,402

The LIFSA micro-projects fund is an initiative of the Office of International Cooperation (OIC) - Government of Monaco, in partnership with the Alliance Française de Johannesburg. It aims to support projects led by civil society in the townships of the Johannesburg area in South Africa.

The 13 selected projects focus primarily on improving the living conditions of children under the age of six, young people and women. The main themes of these projects are: school support, early childhood care, fight against gender violence, mental health, food security and support for unemployed youth.

The selection committee would like to thank all the associations that participated in this call for projects. The OIC, and its partner the Alliance Française de Johannesburg, also thank the NGO ILLIS and the Swiss Embassy in Pretoria for their financial support.

Office of International Cooperation of the Government of the Principality of Monaco
