J-MED: Monaco and France mark fifth year of working together to support young people in Mediterranean

On Friday 14 March, Ms Isabelle Rosabrunetto, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and H.E. Mr Jean D’Haussonville, the French Ambassador to Monaco, renewed the two countries’ commitment to young people in the Mediterranean. Fifteen civil society organisations from the region were successful at the fifth J-MED call for projects, launched last November to mark the Day of the Mediterranean.

J-Med: the winners of the 2024 edition chosen

The J-MED call for projects run by the European Institute for Cooperation and Development and the team from the Méditerranée Nouvelle Chance network, is delighted to announce that 16 proposals have been selected for funding representing a total of 240,000 Euros. Projects from 5 countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania and Lebanon) put forward by 35 civil society organisations (CSO) from the two sides of the Mediterranean will be launched on 1st March 2024.

J-MED: Monaco and France join forces to support young people in the Mediterranean region

On Tuesday 10 October, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and H.E. Jean d’Haussonville, the French Ambassador to Monaco, renewed an initiative for young people in the Mediterranean region. The fourth call for proposals for J-MED will be launched on 25 October 2023 in Beirut (Lebanon).
